Product Engineering Manager

Role Overview:

As the Product/Engineering Manager at Yobi, you will bridge the gap between product vision and engineering execution. You will lead cross-functional teams to develop and launch innovative AI-powered communication solutions. Your role is pivotal in shaping product strategy, managing engineering operations, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

• Define and drive product vision and strategy in alignment with Yobi's mission.
• Translate business objectives into actionable engineering roadmaps.

Team Management:

• Lead, mentor, and inspire engineering and product teams.
• Facilitate agile processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Product Development:

• Oversee end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation and design to development, testing, and launch.
• Ensure products are scalable, secure, and user-friendly.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with AI engineers, UX/UI designers, marketing, and sales teams to gather insights, prioritize features, and ensure a seamless product experience.

Operational Excellence:

• Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and optimize resources.
• Implement best practices for code quality, performance, and continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Communication:

• Serve as the key liaison between engineering, product, and executive teams.
• Report on project status, risks, and opportunities, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in product management and/or engineering leadership roles, preferably in AI tech, or communications.
• Strong technical background with familiarity in AI-driven platforms, UCaaS, and modern software development practices.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills with a track record of building and managing high-performing teams.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools.
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving abilities, and communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
